It seems that B&B is back to its “origins”. B&B organisation confirmed that next season this Fashion Fair is coming back to Berlin, the city where all begun. I hope this will bring back the original concept. I’m not sure if it’s because this global crisis (economical/creative and human crisis) what made this last B&B season sooooo boring. It was much more a kind of extravaganza disguise party than a trendy and cool fashion fair where to work professionally. The collections shown for next season smells “fear” because the bad results on last season sales. It was quite hard to find new ideas or concepts. Everything looked re-visited, re-designed, “re-everything”. People seemed much more worry about what-to-wear-to-be-shot by WGSN or any other trend channel than on the fair in itself. I’ve got the impression that B&B almost run out its “batteries” and that they need to go back to the original idea or even better: go forward!
