Although for next season pastel colours have been collected in PV colour palette, I missed them showed in fabrics collections (samplers). I saw quite a lot wool structures, checks (of course...), "hairy" finishings fabrics (kind of mohair look), structured silks for tops in light weights, cordoroy (I'm afraid is coming back, those who have been working in MNG for a while like me know quite well what it means to get corduroy indigestion for the rest of your "fashion life"). The best part of the collections: knit aspects. Cut and sewn knits were, in my opinion, the more inviting aspects in the collections. Also, doing shopping all around Paris areas, you realized about this quickly. Mostly, the new ideas I found, were applyed on knit garments represented in almost all the collections in all the labels.
Anyway, if I had to say what was new in this last PV it would be "Japanesse Fabrics". All the highligts in the forum were from that amazing country. They do know perfectly well what's the meaning of the words Creation, Innovation and Talent. It's easy to understand why they are allways one step ahead in fashion. It's a pitty their prices are as higher as their ideas! One day, may be...
